Actually it's a whole bunch of hooey.

How can ones blood type dictate your personality? How can such an arbitrary category indicate how an individual would act in or respond to a given situation?

It can't.

I am a type A. I have been known to act both sensibly and wacky, both rationally and optimistically.

It's easy to attribute BROAD social attributes to a blood type, star sign, Chinese year animal etc and then people will say "Oh, I did that because I am a (type)" and don't stop to think about ALL of the MANY times they acted against their type.

You can have type O positive, myself being a case in point. O+ makes up 30-something percent of the population, I believe, while O- makes up about 6 percent. (This is quite possibly only for the US, though.)
