Happy birthday, keep up the good work on this site. In the past it has really inspired me - no joke. I have applied to do Japanese (with Politics) at uni and just booked my flights to Japan for my Gap Year, neither of which I may have done if it wasn’t for you and this blog. Being able to see that someone else has trodden a path I want to go down really gave me confidence in my decision, and helped me dispel any doubts of whether it was a viable path to take by allowing me see how it’s a “doable” thing to do as you yourself have done it.
