Tsunami November 18th, 2006
Quite a few people have been asking me if I was affected by the recent Tsunami warning. It wasn’t that big a wave, and it missed Tokyo by a long way. Even if it hit Tokyo, it would have a hard time making it all the way to my flat. So don’t worry!
I’m working on a few updates right now - they should appear soon. Stay tuned! :)
There was a tsunami? We didn’t hear about it.
Apparently Kel from Kenan and Kel died.
Yes, I did worry about that. According to some of the news here it looked very severe (although it didn’t seem to make headlines - the BBC and co. seem more interested in the amount of children in the UK with names like Gandalf and Superman). I should have e-mailed.
Sorry for not replying about the text books, Mike, but thanks for the offer. :) I’ve got 2 at the moment, and one more (class one) in the pipeline, as well as a Japanese exam tomorrow. It’s just been chaos, with three plays (!) on the go as well as the course (which I’m doing barely anything - anything at all - for). And chronic insomnia.
I’ve got to remember all the Hiragana … in the correct stroke order. What?!
Hiragana stroke order is easy ;) Just stick to the general Kanji order rules and you’ll be fine.
How’s the Japanese coming along? How advanced are you language wise?
I did not know there was a tsunami warning…I need to keep up with the news more.
MIKE!! Didn’t you read?? KEL!!!
Kel from Keenan n Kel is dead. I guess this overshadows Japan getting battered by extreme weather, eh?
Mike, you must email me your address at some point and wonderful things will happen
Wow! This is the excact information i needed for my school presentation
