This is the view from our flat in Oji. Whilst it does give you some idea of how high up we are, it doesn’t show the huge amounts of construction work that go on from 10pm to 8am every night.
Sorry this is such a short update – I’m writing a huge one explaning what I get up to on a weekly basis but it’s taking a long time. Bear with me.

I know what you mean about the construction work! Seems to be going on everywhere in Japan, even when it seems like there’s no room left to build anything new. This seemed espcially true in Tokyo, seems to be cranes where ever you look. True in Nishio to a lesser extent as well.
Really like the new header btw, prefer it a lot to the old one – good work :)
Thanks Daf. Glad to see you’re updating again. Just out of interest, how do you input kana? On my PC it’s a huge headache – just wondering if you’d found a clever shortcut.
Update tomorrow on the school fair. It will be amazing, trust me :)
I’ll check back soon for the next update :)
On the PC here, and in the internet cafe we have a Japanese keyboard so you just press the button underneath Escape and to the left of 1 to switch to hiragana.
Hope that helps!
